Have you ever heard of a guy named Pierre de Coubertin? Well did you know he is the founder of the Olympic rings?  He was in Greece once and he found this symbol and he thought this would be the perfect symbol for the Olympics . He chose the colors blue black red yellow and green because thouse are the 5 colors of the 5 continants  flags who participate  in the Olympics.

In 1896, a 10 year old kid named Dimitrois Loundreas won a gold medal against gymnasts who were 15 years older than him. Isn't that amazing that a 10 year old kid could win a gold medal in the Olympics. Imagine how famous that kid must have been, all that glory man, I wish I was him.Cool

I chose this design because  I like the torch so I put it on then I made a fading olympic symbol then i put the inukshuk in because I think it shows everyone being together and thanking mother nature for the wonderful land we own and the wonderful weather and I put the candels for the kids who used to hold the candels as if it was like a tortch to show some of the olympic spiret. I am sorry I am not the best drawer I will try harder to make a better pictsher.

This video had sad music and it shows many differnt torches from ancient Greece all the way to Vancouver twenty ten Olympics. It showed some of the people who carried the torch. To me this video is very emotional because it does not matter what your religion is or if you are handicapped you are part of the Olympics as well as every one else. This video showed a couple of ways how the flame was transported. It was transported by >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
