I chose to put the beaver on my poster because I wanted to represent Canada. I put red Canada mittens on because I think that they give everybody lot's of Olympic spirit. I also put three medals on because that's one of the reasons why the athletes go to the Olympics.

In the video it showed lots of different people running with the torch. It showed so many ways they traveled by, one person even scuba dived with it!

The video also showed lots of different Olympic outfits from over the years, which the torch bearers got to wear. Some of the outfits were really unique, and very colourful.

In some parts of the video it showed different sports. It showed people winning and losing, to me that showed how emotional it would be to be in the Olympics.

I thought the music was perfect for the video. At first it sounded like a sad song, but then it sounded happy at the same time somehow.

On the video i saw the big crowds of people in the stadium and i wished that i could go watch the Olympics. The only time i watch them is on tv and that's not the same as being in the real stadium.

In 1896, a ten year old Dimitrios Loundreas competed in the Olympics for gymnastics. He actually ended up winning some medals also!

I'm surprised that he was ten years old and he was allowed to be in the Olympics! That's different now because you have to be fourteen, but for some sports you have to be older. That must have been lot's of work for him, with all the training he would have to do. I wonder if he had any time for school. I think that's amazing that he won some medals and he was only ten! I don't know if any of his medals were gold though.

Elisabeta Lipa-Oleniuc

Elisabeta Lipa-Oleniuc has been in six Olympic games and she's gotten at least one medal every time! She is the first rower ever to do that in Olympic history. She was born in Siret ( Rome) in 1964, in October. She was discovered when she was fourteen years old, when a recruiter came to her school and thought she had lot's of talent. A couple weeks later she was training at a Olympic Rowing Center, which would've been an amazing experience. Before she was twenty years old she had already won three world championship medals! (one of them was a gold!) So she has won quite a few medals including the ones from the Olympics.  Only four people have won medals in six different Olympics, Elisabeta is one of them. She is titled 'The most medaled rower in Olympic history'.
