This hockey game is the game for the gold medal. Canada and the USA Face each other for the gold. In the first Period of the Game Canada Scored one Goal. In the second period of the game Canada scored again, then near the end of that period US scored making the score 2-1 For Canada. Some people that were watching the game thought Canada wasn't playing there hardest, and they were getting pushed around on the ice by the US. In the third period Us got a penalty making them have no goalie. Canada was determined to score on that open net. Canada couln't get the puck down the ice because US kept shooting at there net. US then scored on Canada. The score was now 2-2 With 30 seconds on the clock. The game ended as a tie. Then they played a forth period Canada scored one goal in that period. I also chose it because I wanted an under water creature. I'm great at making under water backgrounds. Megi has the Olympic spirit where ever he goes. He brings spirit to the deep sea. Megi brings the Olympic spirit to all the creatures in the deep sea.
The Rings
The Rings
The Olympic rings were choosen by Pierre de Coubertin. When he was in Greece he saw five interlocking rings. He thought it would be perfect for the Olympics. One ring for every continent. The continents are Eurasia, North America, South America, Africa and Australia. The colors of the rings were blue, black, red, yellow, and green. These colors were choosen because every nation has at least one of these colors on their flag.
Vancover 2010 Olympics

I like the picture because it is colorful. I drew a map of Canada to show the path the torch took around Canada. I drew six of the sports played in the Olympics. these sports are skating, tennis, curling, football, hockey and skiing. I drew the five Olympic rings. These colors were chosen because every flag has at least one of those colors. I also drew a Canadian flag to represent where the Olympics are going to be in 2010.
Lights Will Fallow You
Lights will follow you
The way the Olympic flame was transported was, under water, running, walking, climbing, train and sled. There was cheer, joy and happiness floating in the air. The torch has been lit so many wonderfull ways. I felt happy for the kids that have mental and physical problems, that get to hold or run with the torch. I hope that every athlete that is in the Olympics had a great time.
