I put the beaver because we love our beavers.
I drew the Olympic rings because I love the colours.
I desided to put the the Olympic torch because I saw It come in.
I put a gold medal becase I want to win one in the Olympics some day!
Acrostic Poem
American hockey was the last place anybody was looking for a dream to come true.
Miracles can happen.
In 1960 a young hockey player by the name of Herb Brooks was the last player cut form the USA Olympic hockey team.
Remarkable performance.
Americans fought back with tenacity and ended the game with a 4-2 win.
Career was so empresive, that he was selected to coach the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team.
Last minute goal saved the Americans from losing.
Experince the thrill of the "Miracle on ice."

Olympic facts
Story: Dawn Fraser was nervous about swimming in the Olympics. When she got to the pool and took off her warm-up suit she realised she had forgotten to put her swim suit on.
My response: When we started reading this story I did not expect that to happen, I thought she left the race with a gold medal. This story was historical. I wonder if she won the race after all?
