From begining to end, this amazing video captured the heats of many canadians with all the amazing cultrual dancing of diffrent tribes, showing spirit, and how they portraid the diffrent seasons.

When all the tribes were working together to perform a dance, it was spectacular!!! They looked so happy and alive! The dances were so amazing bringing out love, sadness and many more amazing emotions just shown in those dances!

The lights with the show was also a great touch! it made many things seem real, alive, and helped portray a great story to show seasons and cultural beliefs!

Even though i have yet to watch the whole thing, i know, its going to be amazing, and even if i will never beable bo watch the whole video, i know many people have been touched by this stunning, cultural video.♥

My Vancouver 2010 Olympic Logo

My Vancouver 2010 Olympic Logo.
I designed this to be my logo becuase I thought of what do I know about the Olympics, and how can I draw them? I chose the most important stuff to me and decided to put them all together. The mitts for support, the medals for pride, the rings for uniting as one, the statue for honour and the torch for willingness. That is why I designed this to be my Vancouver 2010 Olympic logo! Smile

Olympic video: The Light Will Guide You Home

The video showed alot of emotion. Sadness, happiness, joy ect. The rough ground they ran on and the tears that they shead running the torch. The video was very emotional.

The emotion was the one thing that cought my eye. What they did was very heroic for their country, and that person in the wheelchair that was running the torch almost brought a tear to my eye.

The video was amazing. It must have been hard but a great feeling for the torch runners. Imagine having the torch in your hand. It was your responsibility to get the torch to the next runner, but the pride you would have running the torch would be the best feeling in the world.

One day I hope I will be here in Canada again, when the Olympics come back so I can share the pride again with my friends and family.

An Olympic Story Response

"In one ancient Olympic horse race a mare named Breeze flew to the finish line while leaving her rider at the starting gate and claimed first-place prize!" - from the book Discovering Links page 57.

Response : I read this mini story and thought, "Wow! This is amazing! A horse winning first-place prize!? How is this possible!?" I guess it could be true. You never know what really happened in Greece. I would be so shocked if my horse won and not me. Think of how much fame that horse had! Back then they would be popular! Getting gifts and food for a life time! Having every one know who you are! What a life that horse must have had with all that stuff!

Daley Tompson started realizing his talent at the age of 16. Two years later, he won the AAA title whitch qualified him for the Olympics. Unfortunatlely he took 18th place, but the next year he won against his rival and won the European Junior title. He had his first, huge, international win in Edmonton, Canada and broke a world record in Moscow, also getting him the Olympic title. 3 years later he won the championships in Hilisinkie. That year he lost due to bad injuries and got replaced as Olympic champion. He is no longer doing track and field, but now owns a fitness gym named Daley Fitness.
